Hi there! My name is Jessy and I’m the witch behind Plant Witch Press!
I’m a long-time fan of TTRPGs and the sorts of stories that develop out of a collaborative storytelling setting. My style has been described as “cozy with sudden horror,” and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more apt description of me, my interests, and my influences before.
I started designing and publishing content for Level Up: Advanced Fifth Edition in 2023 with a number of articles published through the Gate Pass Gazette. Then, after much encouragement from friends and my community, I took the plunge into self-publishing in 2024. My currently available catalogue can be found here on DriveThruRPG.
I seek to create content that evokes cozy hobbit-holes and grand feasts of Redwall Abbey, as well as the eerie streets of Yahrnam and the gothic grandeur of Castlevania. If you’ve ever stood in the ancient forests of Appalachia and felt something unseen staring back at you, then you’re definitely in good company here.
